Create new syllabus

Admin can create syllabus from here by using the "Add button" on top to open the "Add New Syllabus" window and add all necessary fields like Subject , Syllabus name , Classroom and click on Add. You can assign multiple classrooms to which the syllabus is applicable to. You can see all added syllabus on Syllabus Screen. Next, we need to configure the syllabus.

Configure syllabus

Click on the right side menu of syllabus screen besides any syllabus and go to configure syllabus section.

By using the Syllabus Configuration button user can create tree of chapters and sub topics within the syllabus. On the top, you can see an add button. Use that button to add your first level chapter. It may be something like 'Unit 1' or some other chapter. When clicked on Add you will see a window where you can select the Difficulty, Importance and Chapter name. Here you can select from your pre defined list of chapters or simply type in your own chapter name and press enter to add a new chapter. Once added, chapter will start showing up in the tree

Once added, you can add another sub topic in the same chapter by clicking on add icon besides chapter name. This will create a sub topic inside the chapter. You can create as many such levels as you want. You can use the add icon on top to add chapter on the main/top level.

Add new sub topic in syllabus

When adding sub topic to any chapter you can click on add icon besides it and add a new chapter or add from existing chapters. This will be shown below the chapter in the syllabus tree indicating it's a sub topic within a chapter. You can create as many such levels as you want.

Clone Syllabus

You can clone syllabus to create a copy of it. Then you can edit the copy to make the changes that you need. This helps you create syllabus faster.
